Information you provide: Name, address, phone number, email, household information, and program-eligibility information you share when you contact us or enroll in a state-supported utility savings program.

Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, and similar usage data collected through cookies, pixels, SDKs, and server logs.

Information from ad platforms: When you interact with our ads on TikTok, Facebook (Meta), Google, or Snapchat, those platforms may share limited information about the interaction (such as ad click, conversion event, or hashed identifiers) with us.

Information from lead forms on Facebook and Instagram: When you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram (Meta Lead Ads), Meta transmits the information you entered — typically your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and your answers to the form's questions (such as your utility provider and whether your household participates in an assistance program) — to us. Meta's collection and handling of that information is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy; our handling of it is governed by this policy.

We use the information we collect to: (a) determine eligibility and assist with enrollment in state-supported utility savings programs; (b) respond to inquiries and provide customer support; (c) operate, secure, and improve our website and services; (d) measure and improve the performance of our advertising; and (e) comply with legal obligations.

By submitting a lead form or asking us to contact you, you agree that Save Your Energy and its agents may contact you at the phone number you provided by live call, text message (SMS), and automated or prerecorded calls, including on a mobile phone, to discuss your eligibility for utility savings programs. Message and data rates may apply. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase or of enrollment in any program. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, by telling any of our agents you do not wish to be contacted, or by emailing support@saveyourenergy.us; we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list within 10 business days. Calls with our team may be recorded and monitored for quality, training, and compliance; where required by law (including in Illinois), we obtain consent to record at the start of the call.

We share information with: (a) the community solar subscription providers and state program administrators you ask us to enroll you with, so they can process your enrollment and apply savings to your utility bill; (b) service providers who help us operate (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support); (c) advertising partners as described below; and (d) law enforcement or regulators when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We advertise on multiple platforms and use their measurement and audience tools to reach households that may qualify for the programs we support. Each platform has its own privacy policy that governs its collection and use of data, and you can opt out using the controls each platform provides.

We and the advertising partners listed above use cookies, web beacons, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure ad performance, and understand how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may affect how the site functions.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org. You can also use the in-platform controls linked above for TikTok, Facebook/Meta, Google, and Snapchat.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
