Terms of Service

Effective September 29, 2026

Who we are

Save Your Energy is a brand of Tolla LLC, a Kansas limited liability company (also doing business as JT Solar Group). Registered address: 12010 South Hagan St, Olathe, KS 66062, United States. Contact: support@saveyourenergy.us · (217) 292-1174. Tolla LLC is the data controller for the personal information described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of saveyourenergy.us and the enrollment-assistance services provided by Tolla LLC, doing business as Save Your Energy ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, calling us, submitting one of our forms, or working with one of our agents, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. What we do

Save Your Energy is an enrollment-assistance company. We help eligible Illinois households apply to state-supported utility savings programs, including the Illinois Solar for All program, and we submit the enrollment paperwork on your behalf.

We are not a utility company. We are not a government agency or the state program itself. We are not a solar installer — nothing is installed at your home, and no equipment is placed on your roof or property. We are not the community solar subscription provider that ultimately serves your account.

2. No fees

We never charge you for our services. We do not ask for, collect, or accept payment information of any kind — no credit or debit cards, no bank account numbers, no deposits, and no fees. Our work is funded by the programs and subscription providers we help households enroll with, not by participants. If anyone claiming to represent Save Your Energy asks you for payment, do not pay them, and contact us at support@saveyourenergy.us.

3. Eligibility

Eligibility for the programs we support is determined by the State of Illinois and the relevant program administrator — not by us. Income limits and qualifying assistance programs are set by the state and may change. We can help you understand and apply for a program, but we cannot approve you for one, and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate, current, and complete information, and to promptly correct anything that changes. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are the utility account holder or are authorized to act on the account holder's behalf, and that any documents you provide to us are genuine, unaltered, and truly yours. Providing false information or documents may disqualify your application and may be unlawful.

5. Authorization to submit on your behalf

When you ask us to enroll you, you authorize us to submit your information and supporting documents to the relevant state program administrator and community solar subscription provider for the purpose of processing your enrollment, and to communicate with them about your application. You can withdraw that authorization at any time by contacting us, though we may not be able to reverse a submission that has already been processed.

6. Savings are not guaranteed

Any savings, discount, or bill credit comes from the program and the subscription provider, and is governed by their terms — not ours. The amount and timing of savings depend on factors outside our control, including program rules, your utility's billing practices, your household usage, and how much electricity the solar project generates. Figures we discuss are estimates, not promises, and we do not guarantee any specific amount of savings.

7. Messaging terms (SMS)

Program. Save Your Energy operates a customer-care and enrollment messaging program. We use text messages to follow up on inquiries you started, confirm details, help you gather the documents your application needs, and answer your questions.

How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages from us when you submit one of our lead forms or online forms, give your phone number to one of our agents, or text us first. Your consent is not a condition of enrollment in any program or of any purchase.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies — our messages are conversational and depend on your application and your replies.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for messages; your mobile carrier may.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. You can also opt out by telling any of our agents, or by emailing support@saveyourenergy.us.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, email support@saveyourenergy.us, or call (217) 292-1174.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed.

Privacy. Information we collect through messaging is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Calls and call recording

By giving us your phone number, you agree that we and our agents may contact you at that number by live call, text message, and automated or prerecorded calls, including on a mobile phone, to discuss your eligibility for utility savings programs. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality, training, and compliance; where required by law, including in Illinois, we obtain consent to record at the start of the call. You can withdraw consent at any time as described in our Privacy Policy, and we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list within 10 business days.

9. Third-party programs and providers

Your subscription to a community solar project is an agreement between you and that subscription provider, under their terms and their cancellation policy. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for the provider's billing, service, or performance. Our website may link to third-party sites, including the Illinois Solar for All website; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

10. Our website and content

The content on saveyourenergy.us, including text, graphics, logos, and the Save Your Energy name, is owned by Tolla LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, or use it to represent yourself as us or as affiliated with us.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our website or services to submit information that is not yours, to impersonate another person, to interfere with or disrupt the site, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tolla LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost savings, lost profits, or lost data, arising out of or relating to your use of our website or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our website or services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing here prevents either of us from seeking relief in a small-claims court where that is available.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
